This new Antwon video is incredible. This is for “Helicopter” off his Fantasy Beds mixtape where he spits over a real groovy beat by Walsh. This video (done by Brandon Tauszik) is a mix between just hanging out (complete with 40s, food and bubble machines) and dope car chase footage featuring Steve McQueen in Bullitt. The Bullitt footage is fitting because the beat sounds like something that could’ve been on the Drive soundtrack, actually (or, you know, the Bullitt soundtrack).

It’s super cinematic, both the beat and how Antwon rocks over it. This is a real anthem right here.”We in the kitchen eating on a full stomach”and “Rest in power to all my friends” are just examples of how triumphant this is. I interviewed Antwon recently and he’s a very cool guy.
