Well, it looks like the whole Double Fine Kickstarter thing is already paying off for the consumer, and the donation period hasn’t even ended yet. For the people over at Double Fine, of course, it’s already going swimmingly. As in Scrooge McDuck in a pile of gold coins swimmingly. Hoping to make $400,000 for their new adventure game, they’ve already raised over 2 million in less than half of the donation time.

But we, as the the donators, need some love too amirite? Well today they gave us some, in the form of this taped 35 minute conversation between Double Fine founder Tim Schafer and Ron Gilbert, essentially the inventor of graphic adventure games. If you’re into these games at all, then you already know/love these two gents, and it’s really awesome to see them talk exhaustively about game creation, the gaming world today, and their plans for the upcoming game.
