Fresh off of his appearance (and subsequent mocking) on Saturday Night Live, Justin Vernon, the be-whiskered gentleman behind Bon Iver and the Kanye West project, has just dropped the video for his song “Towers” off of his well received (though, for us, disappointing) sophomore release Bon Iver. Get it? Because he named it after himself even though it wasn’t his debut. Oh Justin, you and your jokes.

F’realz doe, I think I actually liked this album more than most people around the office (sorry!) and “Towers” stood out for me as one of the more accesible, upbeat tracks on this dour release. Now it’s got a video that’s quintessential Bon Iver, full of woodland beards, Hemingway-esque activities, nature, and mysterious woodland symbolism. Whatever, I’m into it. Thx Bon Iver!
