Zachg Is Ready To Make GOOD

Making ends meet after finishing college isn’t easy. Most of the time you wind up working a job you hate, for less than what your worth. The training you received in college starts to become a distant memory, as your skills are not put to any good use. Sound like the story of your life? Mine too! Anyway, Zach Moldof, a dear friend of Мишка and contributer to our Bloglin, and prolific rap musician who you know as Zachg, was recently interviewed and profiled by GOOD Magazine. Way to go Zach! Some of the topics they discuss are student loan debt, cannabis, trim season, and home made hummus.

Zach is origianally from Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2005. He moved to New York to earn a master’s degree from NYU’s Tisch School, where his thesis analyzed the origins of sampling in hip-hop. After graduating, Zach was looking for more work, and found it with medical cannabis. Shortly after moving to California, he began writing about rap, and medical cannabis dispensaries in vivid detail for the Bloglin. The rest is history! Actually, the rest is in the article. Check it out!

haha it’s all true! except that I was writing for the Bloglin long before I was in California. But that’s me in the BASS hat, and the MAz sweatshirt. I’m a Mopster for life.

  2. My Pal the Crook Says:

Zach, I actually don’t think you started writing on the Bloglin fully until after you moved.

  3. Zachg Says:

I guess I wasn’t really doing reviews, and talking about music as much, but I had started standard deviance originally talking about skateboarding and that’s when i was still workin at 350. And I wrote Rob Roy right after I started working, and DOnnis, and a bunch of stuff. Hahah I remember writing about Drake kinda early on and getting a bunch of shit in the comments.

I think I got more of a handle on it after I moved out here, though for sure. Before it was just kinda sporadic stuff with no real link between any of it, but since I moved out here I started focusing it more for sure, and it turned into something else.
