If you’ve been jamming out to Kool A.D.‘s 51 mixtape these past few weeks, then you’ve no doubt noticed the ill beat for track “Arrested Development” from kechPhrase. kechPhrase is a 21-year old hip-hop artist and music producer from Chicago, Illinois. He’s produced songs for and collaborated with Kool AD, BBU, Big Baby Gandhi, Fat Tony, and more. Recently, he produced a 16-track instrumental album while visiting his home in south Nigeria, and you can check it out below!

kechPhrases The Kechstrumentals: Live From Nigeria, Tape 1 is out now on Kool A.D.s Veehead imprint, and it’s full to the brim with his sample-heavy brand of hard hitting boom bap.
