In just a few weeks time we’ll be releasing the debut mixtape for a brand new Мишка Records artist and- hey look, it’s a lady! We’re more than happy to announce that the lovely singer Carrie Wilds will be the first solo female act to have a release out on our label. Carrie is a Brooklyn-based chanteuse who’s intertwined her southern-soul roots with the City’s thriving electronic scene. After working with artists from Drop The Lime to Crookers, Carrie has teamed up with world champion DJ Shiftee to curate her self-titled mixtape.

It will be hitting the airwaves on June 19th, but today we’re dropping the lead single “Show It” featuring Cody B. Ware and production by S-X. Cody, a part of Queens’ World’s Fair Collective, made a splash with his solo album Welcome Home, and contributes a killer verse to intertwine with Carrie’s powerful vocals. So enjoy the track, and stay tuned for the album and a video next week featuring a guest verse from the one and only Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire. You’re gonna go Wilds! Wild.
