Now that in an of itself is compelling, but I think if you knew the ins and outs of Tink’s daily life you’d be even more impressed. It’s like looking at someone who works in a hospital, and they just saved three people’s lives, and then you find out they gotta walk 12 miles to work every day. Uphill both ways.

Tink’s music is the focus of his intention, but it’s also the means by which he realizes himself in the world. And those realizations don’t come easy.

I’m not gonna spend my time divulging personal details of Tink’s life, but I will tell you that if you knew what he has to go through just to record one song, you’d probably label him a saint as readily as a rapper.
