Remember when every dude that had a van had a giant mural painted on the side of it? They’d have giant airbrushed pictures of wizards, half naked chicks, and Conan The Barbarian fighting dragons on the side of their rides, rolling around blaring early metal and smelling of unemployment. Those were really good times for sweet riffs and guitar solos. I don’t know personally, but that’s what dudes that work at Guitar Center tell me.

I’m pretty sure the guys in The Sword, spend all of their time talking about those good ole days they were too young to experience. If their Black Sabbath meet Dio riffs are any indication, these dudes tour in a conversion van wrapped in original Frank Frazetta art, and when they open the back doors weed smoke billows out as lasers fire out of the exhaust pipe. At least that’s how a Vietnam vet once described the one time he saw Iron Maiden’s tour bus.
