Who is Mikky Ekko? Perhaps you have seen his name peaking into the Internet recently, most famously on Rihanna’s piano-driven “Stay,” from her most recent output, Unapologetic. Despite adding some nice lines on the track, he doesn’t necessarily shine. His voice isn’t put the test; we don’t know how far he can go. Ekko gold comes in the form of the trippy “Pull Me Down,” a recent collaborative track with Clams Casino behind the boards.

This is the first single his upcoming debut album on RCA. He also might be the first person to sing the word “cray.” “Pull Me Down” is a poppy love song with an addictive beat full of electronica and hangovers and some really enjoyable lines like “two punk kids up against the wall.”

The video compliments it so well. It is nothing more than a dripping iTunes visualizer full of ink splatters and dilated pupils. Juicy J will Tweet about it soon enough. Also, more recently, beat mastermind Ryan Hemsworth has crafted the track through his own eyes, adding more pump and playfulness, waking up from the weed high with a Rockstar.
