Blue Ivy’s Synth Dreams

When Jay-Z started showing up at Grizzly Bear concerts, the internet cried it was the death of indie rock, rap music, and the entire world. In reality homeboy was just trying to find the right music to bump from Blue Ivy Carter’s mobile.

LA trillwave artist—guess this is officially a genre now—Dream Panther, just released a sample from their newest EP, Beyonce’s Child. It sounds like the music Blue Ivy hears as she dreams of swimming through money and ascribed coolness. “Auhdobon” uses slow, smooth beats that transports listeners into a different universe entirely. The spacey synths and subtle bassline transform “Auhdobon” into an even chiller, hypnotic experience than you could ever expect.

If you fucks with XXYYXX, than Dream Panther is definitely an artist worth checking out. With those mellow beats, short vocal samples, and dream-like vibes, how could you feel unchill? Beyonce’s Child is online and for sale on their Big Cartel but not in a child trafficking way.
