Daytime TV Gets Carsick

Daytime TV

Dayton, Ohio native Jónó Mí Ló AKA Daytime Television first caught my attention in 2010 as a visual artist whose attention and homage to the 90’s internet revolution, as well as professional wrestling was up front and in-your-face.

I have long been a fan of his artwork, like his digital Nicki Minaj edits which are splashes of pixels over iconic, hazy, screen-grabs of videos. That same artistic feeling permeates through his music as well; a kaleidoscope of sonic colors, a virtual painter’s palette.

Recently, Intothewoods.tv got a chance to swing by the Gnar Tapes house in Portland to catch up with Jónó for their ‘Carsick’ series and they drove around in the rain while Daytime jammed on his MPC. Check it out!
