The-Dream teams up with Fabolous for a song called “Slow It Down” which talks that about how awesome The-Dream/Fab are, and celebrates women’s asses. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Water is wet. Somethings never change.
“Slow It Down” is in the tradition of previous slow burning Dream classics like “Put It Down” and “Turnt Out”, meaning, it’s a song created for demonstrating moves learned in pole aerobics classes. Although The-Dream doesn’t think this will hit top 40 radio, he knows he’ll still have adoring fans after the release of the song. If a r&b song doesn’t hit top 40, but causes at least one unplanned pregnancy, it can never be considered a flop. The-Dream is rightly, confident in his work.
“Slow It Down” is from The-Dream’s Fourplay, out May 7th, just in time for weaves all around North America to get sweat out.- Arianna Aviram
