Cloud City was the ill city that Lando Calrissian (aka Billy Dee Williams) ran in Star Wars. Without consulting Wikipedia, I remember them mining some sort of shit there as the main source of income, and Lando was the governor. Even though Han Solo rolled through and got caught up by Darth Vader, I feel like it was an otherwise real chill place to live. Seemed like the type of joint where dudes worked hard and played hard. A place you go to work for a bit and make your fortune before returning to civilization, but while you’re out there you gotta kickback and unwind from the stresses of working machinery and dealing with annoyingly prissy droids and shit.

The thing I’m getting at here is, although they never really talk about it, dudes in cloud city were probably high as fuck a lot of the time. Probably mad motherfuckers just lounging at some kind of space opium den, coolin’ watching holographic p-no or wookies beat the hell out of each other. I could totally see dudes in Cloud City being real big fans of “I.C.E”. Main Attrakionz‘s collab with Grown Folk has a nice Pure Moods, early electronic music, new age track for dudes to flow over. The video adds in some abstract 90s video art style abstract images to really give you something to think about if you’re faced off of space opium laying around with aliens, and worried that storm troopers might kill your whole planet while you’re out here trying to make a buck. Even in a galaxy far away, the struggle is real.
