If you’ve been involved in hardcore at all in the last decade or so, you know who TERROR is. Hell, if you’ve paid attention to heavy music at all and don’t know who Terror is, you must be under that giant metaphorical rock with the rest of the world’s lames.
Terror have been arguably the hardest working, busiest, most consistent band in hardcore since they started back in 2002. Most bands drop a record or two then either get real bad real fast, or die off.
These dudes have somehow managed to constantly drop hard bangers on every record and a number of sick videos, all while constantly touring with any band from most any genre. Throughout their whole career, one message they’ve shouted out time and time again is their undying love for hardcore and in 2013, nothing has changed.
Hardcore bands generally only do so many things in music videos, if they release any. Terror has done it all from having their crew walking the streets , wild live shots , to a bloody, silly horror movie style video involving the band taking revenge on shitty high school kids.
2013 is blessing us with a new Terror record “Live by the Code” and a new Terror record means a new video. This new one is special though. I said above Terror loves hardcore, and the new video for “The Most High” is a three minute love letter to the road, stage dives, friendship, and everything great about hardcore.
Throughout the insane live footage are displays of classic core records, band tattoos, friends and fans of the band, and the guys themselves living their lives where they tend to be most of the time, on the road.
If you’ve ever toured, played hardcore shows, stage dove, or just been stoked on hardcore in general, this video will have you all sorts of stoked. The song is pretty damn tight as well. Check out the video, then hit the pit when Terror comes your way on any of their upcoming tours .
