If L’Amour Supreme is anything, it’s a man of pure mystery, so relish this opportunity to get a peek into his enigmatic and undoubtedly awesome life through his installment of HypeBeast’s longrunning “Essentials” series. You’ve seen several other Mishka employees do this as well, and like them Lamour has arranged his goodies on the beautiful paint-spattered floor of our office.

Nothing warms my cold cold dairy heart more than when our fans show us that true thug love by getting a Мишка mascot tattooed on them for perpetuity. The ranks of the crew are already vast and varied, and it’s just been made even larger by these two awesome entries. The first one was done all the way back at SxSW, and it’s a bitchin’ Simon Skull taking up some serious real estate on the calf of Jordy from the Frenchkiss Label Group.

This thing was done at Austin’s True Blue Tattoo it looks great. This next one is a real stunner as well, with some seriously bold placement. That’s right: this dude got a sinister looking Death Adder plastered right across his hand. Now that’s commitment! This one comes all the way from Poland and that super hand is attached to Radoslaw Raga Nierychlo, a drummer and all around badass. The tat was done by Bazyl at Tribaz Studio. Thanks to both you Mopsters, the ink looks ill!

Sup Mopsters!? As you know, we’ve been running this Tumblr contest for the past week, and we’ve just hit the half way mark. Here’s a little refresher in case you’re suffered selective amnesia since the event, or are just really really stoned: we recently revamped and relaunched our whole tumblr game, turning it into a pretty and pretty active space for everyone to share Мишка related content. To start things off on the right foot, we’re holding the Мишка Worldwide Style Contest. It runs until 11:59PM EST on Thursday April 19th.

We want you to submit a photo of yourself in an interesting (perhaps foreign) location in you favorite Мишка gear. Submit the image on Tumblr with the tag “mopster,” we’ll reblog them, and at the end of the contest the posts with the 3 most notes win! Third place gets a $50 credit in our online store, second $100, and the overall winner gets a whopping $200 credit. Yo, real talk: this dude lougzgee has to be one of the most committed Мишка fans I’ve encountered on all my days here. Not only that, but he has a serious army behind him on twitter and tumblr trying to get him involved with the company… somehow. You gotta admire that kind of devotion, and so shout outs to you lougzgee.

You got on our list with this photo of you and your girl at prom or something. Is that a Spark Plug Chambray I see beneath the Ferris Cardigan? Better be homie. What really made this photo for me was two things: your girls hair, and the reflection of the mylar balloons in the window. I’m not sure what kind of party you were at, but any party with mylar balloons is my kind of party.

This pic struck me as just fine at first: 3 dudes, some Мишка gear, swag faces, etc. But the more I looked at it, the more I realized: holy shit, there’s a lot of Мишка in this picture. First off, all three guys appear to be decked out head to toe in gear, including the Good Wood necklace, and I think maybe even sunglasses.

But that’s not all! The set dressing here is humorous and wonderful and includes: a row of Мишка hats, some sort of trophy (very nice touch boys), and finally a hastily spray painted cyrillic Мишка in the background. And they didn’t even fuck up any of the lettering. Kudos gents!

Beautiful girl + lounging + stockings + Мишка = what’s not to like here people?? This shot looks so legit that I actually had to ask my boss whether it was from some lookbook that I had forgotten about, but nope: home brewed. In fact, it’s taken by this girl Lauren who is one of our more active female fans, and apparently quite the photographer. Shouts to you, young Lauren!

I especially like that you (or your model) chose that Freddy Krueger shirt from some collections back. It was nice to see that not everything in this contest came from Spring 12 or Holiday 11. Longtime fans = our favorites.

Now we get into the pics that really had some serious thought put into their art direction and composition and stuff like that. This is just a straight up pretty looking picture (pause) that shows off one iconic Мишка image without going overboard. The extreme whiteness of the Keep Watch eye really brings out the colors of the flowers. #artcritic

The tranquil, grassy scene evoked a pleasant springtime, perhaps in New England or – as I came to find out (I think) – regular ol’ England. I definitely thought this one was going to be our number one until…

Damn homie. The picture with the least amount of notes also happens to be our favorite. It’s a cold, cold world out there 2caiten5. This hit all of the requirements, including the foreign location (Chiba, Japan) and just looks awesome. I’ve written before about how I want to wear the Painters Caps just so when people look down at me I look like an evil bear, and it turns out the effect is just as sweet as I suspected.

The patterned, seemingly neverending off-white background contrasts awesomely with the darkness of the Painters cap and the Varsity Jacket, and the casual walk lets you know that wherever this dude is going, he’s gonna be the coolest guy there. Congratulations on topping our monetarily meaningless High Five!

Check it out daily to see posts from us about old designs, things we like, stuff relating to Мишка and more. Plus we’ll be reblogging all our favorite Мишка featuring photos that you guys post (make sure you tag ‘em yo). Woo-ha, that’s a pretty good one. It’s already been a good year for Мишка cakes, let’s keep this gravy (err, icing) train on a rollin’. This one comes from a strange, mystical continent known as Europe. Weird! Where’s that? Our new friend Sjoerd Krijnen, who lives in The Netherlands in the city of Haarlem (namesake for our own borough. The more you know!) just had his birthday and he celebrated with this bitchin’ ocular desert.

Special shouts to the bakery responsible for it, Patisserie Elhorst. Keep doing what your doing, you beautiful Dutch bastards! And a very happy belated birthday to you Sjoerd. The fact that you started your e-mail to us with “Hey people at the Мишка Brotherhood of Blood” made my week. You sir, are a true mopster.

Blake Anderson, AKA the dude with the swaggery hair from Comedy Central‘s fantastic show Workaholics, has been a Мишка buddy for a minute now. Unfortunately, he was injured in the line of duty recently while trying valiantly to bring the internet laffz.

As you can see from the video, Blake was just trying to make a funny video by jumping off a roof at a party onto a beer pong table. Also Tyler was there. Fully acceptable decision. But, unfortunately, not all lolzy videos have lolzy endings, and Blake actually broke his back. Being a resilient gentleman, he’s already undergone surgery and should be back in action soon. Get better dude!

So, in case you don’t know, we used to have a designated Мишка girls line. That’s were the infamous Keep Watch leggings came from, perhaps one of the illest Мишка products when used correctly. But, sadly, for all sorts of reasons, the ladies’ collection just had to go on the backburner. Some of our Y-chromosome-lacking fans are apparently pretty bummed about it.

Мишка-teer Lauren Lepore has been doing her own personal mods to our recent collection, DIY-ing herself some crop-top swagger. She can also apparently copy herself and walk on the ceiling. Don’t go reselling this on Etsy Lauren! So what do y’all think? Is the women’s line more missed than we thought? If anything, Lauren should serve as an example that all you need to make some Мишка gear are some scissors…and I guess maybe a sewing machine.

We love our fans, and we like to think that they love us too. Our heart is always warmed when we receive little gifts or shout outs from y’all, whether it be in the form of tattoos, or these sweet BASED buttons that a fan very kindly sent us.

So shout outs to you, Joey Berger from Texas, for taking the time to transcribe our BASED tee graphic onto these nifty little pins. You, sir, are a true Mopster!

Everyone in the office grabbed one and stuck it onto one garment or another, and I even made some of the extras into the word BASED as a meta-thank you. Apologies for the photos from my dinky camera phone.

<Fanfic> It was the beginning of the new schoolyear, and all of the Hogwarts students were gathered in the great hall, giddy with excitement at the prospect of the impending semester. Harry and Hermione were sitting at the Gryffindor table, doing lame shit like drinking non-alcoholic beverages and doing spells that don’t kill things or start fires. “Where’s Ron,” asked Harry, like a wang-nimbus.

All of a sudden Ron swaggered in with his arms around two girls from, I dunno, whatever the hot house is, decked out head to toe in Мишка gear and smoking a blunt and shit. “Ron Weasley, what have you gotten into?” said Hermione and she was all blushing or whatever cuz she was feeling it. “I founded this new Hogwarts house yo, House Мишка,” replied Ron. “Our sorting hat is a New Era fitted and our ghost is ODB. Who wants to come get high and watch Troma movies and be based?”

And everyone did so everyone left the other Hogwarts houses. Then Voldemort was over being evil so he came to hang out at House Mishka too but he couldn’t keep his shit together and he booted after doing a magical kegstand. The other kids drew magical weiners on his face with their wands after he passed out and the realm of witches and wizards was happy forever after. </Fanfic>

The Мишка family congregated at Le Bain to celebrate the release of his two part rager of a mix, Good Morning & Good Night Much love to Shayne HBA, Lauren Dillard of CREEP, Uproot Andy, Rx for the great sets and Carrie Wilds for the wonderful performance which gave us a little sneak peak of whats to come in 2012 so you best KEEP WATCH!
