New Raised By Wolves Available Now

We’ve been stocking Canadian brand Raised By Wolves in our online and 350 Broadway locations since late last year and they just hooked us up with some new stuff that’s definitely my favorite we’ve seen thus far. First we got a veritable Pringles sleeve worth of rugged 5-Panels that mix a hearty hunter aesthetic – including the use not only of patterns, but waxed cotton – with the signature streetwear look of a simple label-sportin’ five panel. I’m particularly fond of the Hickory Waxed Cotton Brown Algonquin model.

We thought those hats were great on their own, but a few days later four pocket tee shirts showed up and we were even more jazzed. Yeah, jazzed. Back off. Each coming in either black or white, these tees feature a contrast leopard pocket or contrast Liberty Print pocket (in red or blue, depending). With a pocket that really pops, these shirts are the perfect way to stand out. Get’em all now!

They say that less is more. But remember, they also said the Earth was flat. People are dum-dums. That’s why we’re giving you more – always more! – previews of our upcoming Summer 12 collection. You’ve already seen New Era Fitteds, and here’s a eye-flutteringly dope dose of tees, all of which are available online now. Bonus. I’m just gonna get right into the good stuff with one of my personal favorite designs, Bang The Machine. I mean come on, what could be better than Street Fighter II and Мишка.

Everyone knows the SFII machine is my best friend, and now I can capture that love on a shirt. True happiness becomes me. Not that there isn’t some stiff competition from graphics like the boisterously bratty Punk’s Been Dead or O-Dog’s favorite Menace II Destroy. Мишка x Three Tides Tee ($32.00)

Considering that the collective flesh real estate of our office pool is probably over 50% inked up, you could certainly say that we’re a big fan of tattoos here at Мишка. Shocking, I know. We’re also big fans of Japan (who isn’t though), and so that’s why we’re particularly fond of Three Tides, one of Tokyo’s premiere tattoo parlors.

We’ve admired them for a while, and coincidentally they felt the same way about us. The connection has led to the awesome tee shirt you see above, available right now in our online store. Drawn by Three Tides artist Ganji, the Three Tides x Мишка Collabo tee features an awesomely aqueous take on the Keep Watch eyeball, here with crossed bones that drip some devilish lettering. Legitimate question: who’s gonna be the first to tattoo this on themselves??

I’m sure you remember that, when it comes to our clothes, we’re pretty much the worst about keeping secrets. Sure, the release date may be just around the corner, but we can’t help but give you sneak peaks from our upcoming Summer 2012 collection. In this particular case, the preview is imbued with an extra level of meta, because for two of these items we already secretly previewed them for you.

The first thing we’re showing off is the New Era Fitted hats, and you’ll notice that we’re using two of the awesome and unique Keep Watch colorways that we deployed for the first time on tees and tanks in our lil’ Keep Watch capsule collection from back in March. The Salmon/Navy and Yellow/Blue Keep Watch New Era Fitteds both feature the amazing mouth underbrim. The Oversized Death Adder Fitteds, which also sport awesome new colorways, feature a faux snake skin underbrim. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in this crazy, some might even say “zany” lives of ours, it’s that if your patch game is sewed up proper, then all of your other problems will melt away like the most Ark-exposed of Nazi heads. I know, I know, it’s not technically “blue” or “purple” but it just rolled off the tongue a little bit more than “magenta & seafoam.” And I really wanted to work that Wiz Khalifa reference into the post title. I really, really did. I have a secret you guys: I’m a time traveller who’s come forward from the summer of 2010 to write this post. It only took me two years to get here, but it was worth it. This strange and unfamiliar future is better than I ever could have imagined. Phones are slightly thinner. The economy, slightly better. There’s no more Redemption Island on Survivor. The city is alive with the thrill of sport my friends. As several of our teams have seized or are on the road to claiming some of our greatest trophies, and so we thought it was the perfect time to bring back an old graphic, NY Ballin, in some brand new colorways. And trust me, the NY Ballin will definitely win at least one game in the playoffs.

Steady Peddlin’ to the 4th dimension! Because the 4th dimensino is GIFs right? I’m pretty sure Carl Sagan said that one time. Look it up. We wanted to show off some layering with this newest outfit, but we also didn’t want to obscure any of the awesome items. More specifically, we didn’t want to hide the crimson power of the Hooligan Polo. Red is a bold choice, but in this case it’s most definitely the right choice. Pair it up with the clean badassery of the Fanatic Snapback for a truly winning combo.

If you just want the red to be an accent, however, you can throw the Drop Out Crew over the polo, giving off a look that says collegiate until people start to notice all the skulls and bloody eyeballs and death talk. Actually, come to think of it, that’s a lot of the same stuff that’s in real fraternities. Frats are weird. If the entire collegiate Greek system all joined up and staged some sort of Illuminati based revolution they could probably succeed. The only thing holding them back is beer. Imagine the amazing impression that bad boy would leave on someone’s face after you fed them a hefty knuckle sandwich? Hell, it’d probably be so cool they wouldn’t even be that mad about the reconstructive surgery they would most likely have to undergo. Until the bills came in I guess… Anyway, the point is, our fearless leader Greg Rivera (who’s birthday is today!) designed this awesome new super-duper limited ring. You would be a pitiable and foolish person were you not to buy it.

We don’t necessarily do jewelry that often, but when we do you know it’s bound to be too legit.
