SXSW Recap: Vibes (Day 1) (@Vibes2015)

Thursday marked the first day of the two-day Vibes showcase, led by LNDRNRS and MishkaNYC. Featuring two stages both days (the Mishka Stage and the Trillectro Stage), artists from all over the country came and went in a six-hour flurry (a blurred hurry).

The first day started early with sets by Deniro Farrar, Remy Banks, and Rome...

Main Attrakionz and Friendzone at SXSW: Hearing 808s and Dark Grapes III Live

(Taken from the Friendzone's Facebook)

I paid a visit to Austin's Blackheart bar, where I planned to see Main Attrakionz for the first time in my life. Atlanta band iNDEEDFACE, who released their album Who Killed the Last Dragon?, through Mishka Records in January, performed in the Austin rain this past Saturday at SXSW.

The event was at La Barbecue; they promoted free beer, some of the best barbecue in the city, and artists like iNDEEDFACE, Weekend Money, Statik Selektah, Exile, and Fashaw.

Although I didn't stay for the entire event, I did...
