Here's the first trailer for the sequel to J.J. Abrams' Star Trek reboot Star Trek: Into The Darkness. Despite the amazingly generic and Transformers-esque title, the trailer looks like it'll be more of the same sexed up, heavy action, overly glowy Star Trek we got in the last iteration. No one's mad at that. The question we have here, is this a remake of the classic Trek movie Wrath Of Khan, or is this something entirely new? As usual with J.J Abrams productions there's very few plot details released, but from everything we see in the trailer it's possible it could be Khan. It could also be any number of B-level villains from numerous Star Trek comics and extended universe materials. No one knows. Also, from that title, this could also be a really well made p-no about Spock and Uhura getting it on. Looks like a good time for summer 2013 when this drops. I'm kinda hoping this is a remake of Wrath Of Khan, just so we can have people yelling "kkkkhhhannnn!!!" re-enter pop culture instead of being held hostage by old nerds. Shits too good to not give to the seeds.
