As part of Melbourne Music Week (AU), one local university underground carpark was emptied out, a stage placed in the center, filled with a shit tonne of fog and lit with some dope lasers and projections. All in the name of Gatekeeper and Midnight Juggernauts label Siberia Records. Siberian Nights wrapped the festival with la crème de Melbourne’s underground; Siberia artists and a killer headlining show by New York’s Gatekeeper. Kirin J Callinan filled the place with some post-apocalyptic experimental indie vibes. Forces was up next, bringing on a proper ebm industrial / retro rave feel. Then on came the much-anticipated Gatekeeper who dealt the audience a relentless set of digitally enhanced stimulation, playing from their latest Hippo In Tanks release 'Exo' and dropping some old favorites.
