Blue Sky Black Death have been on their hip-hop shit recently, dropping albums with Nacho Picasso (one of the most unique trilogies in hip-hop), a powerful EP with Deniro Farrar, and even tracks with Pepperboy and Key Nyata. The production duo have remixed tracks by favorites like Cam'ron, Gunplay, and MondreM.A.N. But, it has been a while since they have dropped an instrumental album, a much anticipated follow-up to 2011's Noir, an hour-long masterpiece worthy of cinematic proportions doused in codeine and gasoline. Earlier this week, BSBD dropped “II”, the first single to their next LP, Glaciers, dropping down from heaven in October. With additional assistance (lurking background vocals) from Child Actor, the track flies in every direction in almost twelve minutes. From zen gardens to outer space to death and back again. Glaciers will be five tracks long: I, II, III, IV, and V. Two tracks will feature Child Actor and one track with feature JMSN. “Five songs sounds like an EP, it sounds like it'll be too short!” you scream inside your head. Have no fear, this project will be right around an hour, as each song will be the epic length of “Stairway to Heaven” chopped and screwed.
